Red Oak Presbyterian Church to Feature

Jolita Burton as Special Guest Singer

at Sunday Worship, September 22nd.

In celebration of International Underground Railroad month, Red Oak Presbyterian Church is happy to announce a special guest singer, Jolita Burton for our Sunday, September 22nd service at 10:00 AM.

Jolita was born, nurtured, and mentored in the unique community of Benton Harbor, MI. She is a wife, mother, and grand mother. She is Psalmist who is passionate about blessing and uplifting people with her gift of singing.

Jolita has formerly worked to cultivate her gift through membership in her church choir, Saints with a Vision Choir, the SW Michigan Chapter Choir, and the Western Michigan Chapter Choir.

Grace has afforded her a multiplicity of opportunities to render inspirational songs of hope, praise, and adoration of the Lord Jesus Christ. She has ministered in song at the Holy Winds from Heaven Conference (Refreshing Fountains); Harbor Vision Fest; Strong Women of Faith “Help a Sista Out,” conference and the Defense Logistics Agency African American Heritage Luncheon; plus a canvass of additional church services and programs.

Her inspiration in the operation of her gift comes from I Corinthians 14:15, “…I will sing with the spirit and I will sing with the understanding also.”

She serves as a member of Refreshing Fountain C.O.G.I.C., under the appreciated leadership of Bishop, Melvin Burton.
