Our Chapel, built in 1817, is listed on the the American Presbyterian/Reformed Historic Sites Registry and National Register of Historic Sites not only for its architecture but also for the antislavery activities of its congregation. It is also recognized as an important site of the National Underground Railroad Network to Freedom.
